Thanks to Amy for:
What am I missing?
C*L*ALCULATORS
Calculators is spelled wrong.
Maybe they were going for onomatopoeia?
Maybe the math-intensive people who are looking for those items won’t be familiar with the correct spelling of the word.
And why is there a portable radio pictured on the sign? Or maybe that is a picture of a claculator. I am surprised the sign doesn’t say “printer’s”.
I can’t stop laughing! In conversations from now on, I’ll say clalculators and see if anyone notices/ corrects me…!
They don’t promise digital models, I see. Maybe a claculator is an abacus?
