Presumably (from looking at the style of the tattoo), the person had a stencil put on first and had a chance to look at it. That’s how they usually do it. So we can’t blame the tattoo parlour completely.
Goo Goo Dolls are like the best band in the universe and you may disagree but then again if you do keep it to your-self, The Tattoo on the other hand fails i must admit and it does because the dude that did it is a moron. The lyrics of Iris though are one of a kind.

Oh geez. The only part of this tattoo that “fails” is the spelling of the word “you’re”. I’m not entirely on board with the design either, but who really cares what I think, or what anybody else on here thinks – it’s not my tattoo, nor is it any of yours. This is the tattoo that person wanted, and I can respect that. Sure a word is forever spelled incorrectly on their skin – I’ll give you that, simply because it’s improper English. But as for criticizing other things such as the band or choice of lyrics, that’s utterly pointless. Bashing others for what they enjoy is such a waste of time, and I’m sorry that people do waste so much of their time doing it. If it’s their opinion, it can’t possibly be incorrect or a “fail”.
