Amusing, but I’m not quite sure why it’s on this blog.
For those who haven’t already seen it: apparently someone is going around sticking these on distribution points of the Toronto Sun. If the Toronto Sun is still like it was a few years ago, it’s pretty accurate.
That’s just wonderful. Congratulations on making a label in four minutes in Photoshop.
The first thing that comes to mind is the fact that the text on the label is extraordinarily clear, where the rest of the picture is mostly out-of-focus.
Secondly, it’s 100% white. No shading. It doesn’t interact with the light at all.
The shadow on the top border is too hard to be legit.
That being said (and I know I was hard on it) it’s hilarious, and if I had actual stickers of these I’d probably put them on newspaper boxes. ^_^
The reason the label is clear while the newspaper is not is because the sticker is on the Plexiglas, while the newspaper is behind it. I think this is a real photo and not Photoshoped. It is also very funny.
What’s the deal with this site lately? That isn’t any sort of fail at all.
I’m disappointed–this place had so much potential, but mostly what’s posted lately is Engrish fail (not what I came here for) and stuff that has no fail to it whatsoever.

EXACTLY. This site is becoming more of a failure than its content.
I think the real fail is when someone visits the same site over and over, hating it the whole time. Jeesh. Go make your own blog if you think this one is so bad. (And no, I’m not the author. I just hate hearing people complain about what they get for absolutely nothing.)
Maybe turn down your brightness a bit? The label is not completely white, and also appears to have a few wrinkles in it (someone doesn’t know how to apply stickers properly).
wat
It’s not really an English fail.
I like it.
It just happens to be true…

More like Honesty Win!
That’s superb! Might think about making some similar stickers for the UK tabloids.

The sticker is right!

That better be a New York Post in there.
lol Tal. You’re adorable in your efforts to seem smart.
You failed and all, but it’s still cute.
Win!

This is just urban street art, not an English fail of any sort.
In no way is this fail, it’s actually very amusing. I may go affixing similar stickers to ‘newspapers’ like the Daily Mail.
I’m with Matthew. Not a fail, just funny. The assumption is that the newspaper did not put this sticker on its own box.
It’s the Toronto Sun, and I wish I came up with that first. Maybe I’d do something similar to the on campus papers.

Hey Tal, I get it, you’re a very clever person. Thank you so much.
