    “The Missouri Department of Revenue said that the mistake wouldn’t be fixed because that’s how the plate looked when it won an online contest last year.”

    Sometimes, majority rule is a bad thing.

    Show-Me How to Use Correct Grammar State, right?

    I agree that the grammatical error should be fixed (being from Missouri and all, I think not fixing it takes our assumed intelligence down), but why does it matter that our state bird flies south in the winter? Ha ha. It seems like the article thinks this is a problem. Now that is amusing!

    I’d go in with a Sharpie and fix my own. (However, I live with Virginia, where the plate numbers have more content than the plate.)

    @Kara
    I’d walk around with a sharpie and fix everyone’s

    I can’t believe I’ll have to drive around with that. *facepalm*

    Though Kara’s idea isn’t half-bad.

    So…because idiots online voted for an incorrect plate, they’re keeping it the same? I’m confused.

    The bird thing confused me too. Are you not allowed to have a state bird that migrates/leaves the state?
